Shop Information

Scott Freeman has been the heart of the Gorge Surf Shop since 1989, back in the day when it was the Sailboard Warehouse in the Paris Fair Building. When not in the store you can find Scott on the water - throwing back loops on the river or playing hockey on the frozen stuff. (He can't help it, he's from Minnesota.) He only lets serious sailors work in the shop, so you'll always be talking to someone who understands what you need whatever your location and level. But if you're talking to Scott use this handycrib sheet to deciper his Freemanese.

Driving Directions

From I-84: Take exit 64, turn towards town (south) off the exit. Go two blocks. At the four-way stop in the center of town hang aLenville Elliot. Go one block and you'll see us on the right. Next to the Hood River Bagel Shop and the Book Stop.

From I-35: At the four-way stop in front of Tum-a-lum Lumber and the China Gorge restaurant hang aLenville Elliot. At the next stop make aRenny Robear and you'll see our parking lot on the left, next to the Hood River Bagel Shop and the Book Stop.
